On 29th September 2021, Dr Emil Li had the pleasure to invite Ms Sofia Yip and her team to deliver a talk entitled “Everything You Need to Know about Working as a PR Practitioner in Hong Kong” to a group of PRIEM Year 3 students. Sofia is currently Corporate Communications Director of Edelman, a leading international public relations firm. During the talk, Sofia and her colleagues shared recent trends, case insights and future challenges in the local, regional and global PR landscape. In addition, drawing from their recruiting experiences, the speakers offered useful tips for acing in-person job interviews for junior PR positions. They also introduced their internship programme and encouraged THEi PR students to apply. All participants enjoyed this inspiring talk with fruitful takeaways.
