Congratulations to Mr HON Kwan Tung who has been awarded the first prize of BSOMES Research Prize 2021. Mr HON was a student of BEng(Hons) in Building Services Engineering via the Earn & Learn mode. His research paper entitled “Impact of Open Kitchen Design in a Small Domestic Flat on Fire Safety” was modified from his Final Year Project report under the supervision of Ms Sherry YIU.
Earn & Learn mode is an alternative articulation pathway and advancement opportunity for Higher Diploma graduates and working adults to pursue a Bachelor’s degree qualification through studying at THEi and at the same time accumulating work experience while earning an income at workplace.
