THEi Learning Commons is holding an exhibition of two outfits designed by our fashion design 2023 Graduates, Chan Tsz Him, Michael, and Chan Koo Man, Circle.
The Pest – Chan Tsz Him, Michael, this collection draws inspiration from the beauty and complexity of insects while addressing harmful stereotypes and prejudices faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. It celebrates the strength and beauty of all individuals and aims to challenge harmful stereotypes and promote diversity and inclusivity. Awards and Achievement: Overall Winner, The Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association Creativity Award, and Outfit was captured by a local fashion magazine, JESSICA, on 9 August 2023.
Little Things – Chan Koo Man, Circle, living in a city can cause anxiety about the future, but “Little Things” encourages us to appreciate what we have. The designer paints all patterns and illustrations, with hidden fairies similar to “Where’s Wally”. Awards and Achievement: Second Runner-up.
