The Kick-off Ceremony of the “Tsuen Kwai Tsing Volunteer University” was held on 23 Oct 2021 (Saturday) in the Assembly Hall of THEi Tsing Yi Campus. Collaborated with the Social Welfare Department, SDO recruited 18 students to form the “WeCare” Volunteer Service Team to extend their helping hands to deprived parties in the society.
After the Kick-off ceremony, 18 THEi students attended a 2-hour training workshop to learn about the basic of volunteering. The team will deliver volunteer services and hold on-campus activities in the next semester.
Two personal development programmes of different themes were organised for students to learn more about local culture and traditions, and to build resilience and patience when facing new challenges.

A career workshop on “Sharpening your basic job search skills” was held online on 7 October to equip students with the essential Cover lettering and CV writing skills, and techniques for job interviews.
