The Talent Development Scholarship (TDS) of the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) is now inviting applications from THEi students.
TDS aims to give recognition to students who have demonstrated achievements or talent in non-academic areas and to provide support for students to further develop their talent and potential. The scholarship is set at HK$10,000 per student. Students who have demonstrated talents or achievement in any of the following areas during 1 September 2018 to 31 August 2021 can apply for this scholarship:
- Sports and games
- Music and performing arts
- Culture, arts and design
- Innovation
- Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
*Social / community services (e.g. volunteering on charity flag days) are NOT considered as talents or achievements for the purpose of this scholarship.
You are required to go through Information Sheet and Online Application – Point to notes for students before submitting your application.
Application method
- You are required to use your CNA to login to the Online TDS Application Form.
- Please provide and upload your supporting documents, such as proof of achievements (e.g. certificate, letter, email, website, medal or trophy issued by the organizer) using the attached template (Annex 3). See the Points to Note for Students (Page 11 to 21) for example.
- For new intake students attaining qualifications in HD/AD programmes of other Institutions, please submit academic transcript showing your final CGPA in your application via the MS Form.
- Please submit your application by the deadline of 15 October 2021 (Friday). The link will be disabled after the deadline above.
We would like to draw your attention on the following:
- Only ONE single file (less than 10 MB) in PDF format can be uploaded in the MS Form for each application.
- No amendments could be made once your e-application is submitted. Please check carefully the information you inputted in the form before submission.
