Dear All,
The following settings in Class Attendance System (CAS):
• Early Bird period is 5 minutes before the class starts.
• Grace period is 10 minutes after the class start. The value of the grace period can be adjusted by the instructor.
Therefore, only those records within this period would be shown in the Class Attendance System or the Reports. For example, if a class starts at 6:30 p.m., only after 6:25 p.m. will there be records in CAS.
Students are required to tap the Student ID Card within 5 minutes, early bird period and 10 minutes, grace period, a total of 15 minutes for attendance record. Or else, there will be no record.
Card readers can be found on the wall (near the entrance) or at the instructor lectern.
